🧸 What the Bitcoin Sherpa Jacket is made for
Cold, dry days are its territory. Over a hoodie you have two layers with air in between, and that keeps you warm longer than one thick layer: in the morning walking the dog, when your breath still steams, in the afternoon fetching firewood, in the evening at the campfire. The pile hardly takes on any moisture, which is why the jacket still feels dry after two hours outside.
What it cannot do: stop wind and stand up to rain. Fleece is built open — wind pushes the warm air out from between the loops, and water does not run off, it soaks through. When it gets wet or windy, the Bitcoin Worker Jacket is the better choice, on its own or over the Sherpa Jacket. And if you stay indoors all day, the Bitcoin Hoodie is enough.

Wash the jacket cold at 30 °C and leave out the fabric softener — it settles as a film around the fiber loops, presses them together and takes exactly the air out of the pile that makes it warm. Heat is the second issue: in a hot dryer or under an iron the pile mats together and stays flat.

Follow the care instructions above. Technical fabric does not like high temperatures or fabric softener — both damage the fibres. Washing inside out protects the finish.
